With the transfer frenzy surrounding New York strike prodigy Josmer Altidore sure the grow once the MLS season kicks into high gear, he has suggested that incremental league leaps might be the path he chooses.
The likes of Real Madrid have been tracking the teen phenom, but he seems to be of the mind that it would be too early in his career for a glamour move.
"It's a dream of mine to play in Europe," Altidore told the Newark Star Ledger. "But it has to be the right situation for me."
"I want to develop as a player but I want to play, and with a bigger club that probably won't happen right away."
