Chivas USA experienced triple deja vu as Jesse Marsch and Jorge Flores each scored for third straight game to lift the Goats into a Western first place tie with a 2-0 win over Columbus, their third victory on the trot.

Original Sueno MLS winner Flores opened on 20 minutes, then the veteran Marsch added on mere seconds later to give the hosts all the offense they'd need. 

Earlier, defending champs Houston also moved to 14 points to go level top in the West with a 1-0 squeaker win over visiting New York.

Brian Ching's third goal of the season came in the 68th minute and was enough for the victory.

Toronto FC kept Los Angeles on 14 points by serving up a 2-0 defeat at BMO Field.

Robbie Findley hit in the 48th minute to start the scoring and Javier Morales made it two at the hour.

Dema Kovalenko then scored from the spot in the 73rd minute, while John Cunliffe grabbed the Quakes a late consolation tally.
