soccerumbro.com*| european news | Terry Expects United Surge

Chelsea captain John Terry refuses to read too much into Manchester United's disappointing start to the Premier League season.

The champions have claimed just four points from their three opening games of the campaign, with Liverpool causing their latest setback in Saturday's 2-1 defeat.

The Blues, on the other hand, have impressed with their start to the season with manager Luiz Felipe Scolari guiding his side to three wins and a draw.

But, ahead of Sunday's clash between the two top-flight giants, Terry has warned his team-mates that he expects a surge from the Red Devils as the season unravels.

He said: "They have not started too well but we have certainly not seen the last of United, that's for sure.

"But if we can get another win at home against them then we can really push on.

"Liverpool have started well so we have to be careful of all teams. The top four have started well and we know that Man United will have a run later on in the season I'm sure."
